When we buy stuff, we trade our time spent doing a thing we can do (work) in the shape of money for the time other people spent making stuff we don't know what to do. This is a system that mostly works most of the time. But what do you when you are unwilling to pay for something? Then you turn to DIY (and not to theft).
However, just like not all of the products you can buy are well thought out, so are some DIY products. Sometimes, the premise is just fundamentally flawed, other times, the execution leaves much to be desired. But whatever the case may be, here are some DIY horrors and failures.
