Blue flowers is probably one of the more stereotypical patterns fort decorating your china. There must be a reason why it's so prevalent! Must be that people like it - and no one likes it more than a 90-year-old resident of Louka, Czech Republic who spends her time painting those flowery blue patterns on window and door frames around her town.
Anežka Kašpárková is a former agricultural worker. However, she picked up the hobby and the skill from one other local woman, who had been doing the same thing for years. Moravian (southern Czech) traditional arts inspire the floral designs that Anežka paints with a tiny brush. “I am an artist,” she said in an interview to Czech media. “I just enjoy it and I want to help.”
