Well, we have already written about real-life Barbie Doll obsessed with plastic surgery. Now, it's time for Kirill Tereshin, 21, to shine like a crazy diamond. This former soldier is trying to achieve arms akin to Popeye's by injecting a potentially lethal combination of alcohol, lidocaine, and synthol. Doctors have told him that he could cause nerve damage eventually. Nevertheless, he keeps pumping the stuff into his body - even if the effect is purely visual and doesn't make him strong

“He very likely faces amputation in the future,” Professor Evgene Lilin told the press “One day abscesses will develop, then inflammation and he will be at risk of a stroke. The bad thing is that already-injected synthol or its equivalent will remain in his muscles for the next five to seven years, even if he stops adding more now."

And this is just a lead up to worse stuff happening. “Inside the arms of this man there are already pathologically changed tissues that look like jelly with insertions,” Lilil added.

“They are aseptic or inflammatory so far, but these are abscesses. They consist either of oil or blood from the damaged vessels. They can’t be removed.”

Why is Kiril doing it, despite the clear risk to his health and warnings from doctors? Well, he is 21, so one of the more prosaic reasons is getting more Instagram followers. According to Kiril, he got 106,000 followers in a month – as well as various offers, like appearing in an adult film!
