High visibility - or high vis - vest are all the rage these day... if you're doing some blue collar work outside, are a cyclist or someone who dared to venture outside after dark. Not many people would wear them everyday. Even fewer would try to use them to game system. However, that's what David Allegretti and his mate Sean did. They conducted a little social experiment to see how far someone can get by wearing official-looking high vis vests. They weren't even impersonating anyone, they just wore those jackets. The pair got into a movie for free
They entered the zoo with no problems.
And they even managed to walk into a Coldplay concert.
“There’s just something about uniforms that garner an almost naive trust,” wrote David. “People trust uniforms. Most of us obey the word of those clad in uniforms.”
