Keaton Jones, of Knoxville, Tennessee was catapulted into fame after his mother, Kimberly Jones, recorded and posted a video of him asking why he gets bullied at school. "Just out of curiosity, why do they bully?" Keaton asked in the video. "What's the point of it? Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them. It's not okay." "What did they say to you?" asked his mom. "They make fun of my nose. They call me ugly. They say I have no friends," said Keaton, with tears in his eyes.
"What did they do to you at lunch?" his mom asked. "Poured milk on me and put ham down my clothes. Threw bread at me."
Of course, nobody likes bullies, and that includes celebrities. Chris Evans, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Hailee Steinfeld, Mark Ruffalo, Katy Perry and many others have responded to this video, supporting Keaton. Evans And Ruffalo offered to invite Keaton and his mom to the Avengers: Infinity War premiere in Los Angeles next year.
Steinfeld asked Keaton to be her date at the Pitch Perfect 3 premiere on Tuesday. "You got a friend in me Lil bro! Hit me on dm and we can chat!!! Love you buddy!!" Justin Bieber wrote on Instagram. Mark Hamill said that bullies are jealous since, calling Keaton "smart and handsome." Country star Kelsea Ballerini promised Keaton visit at the lunchroom when gets back to her hometown of Knoxville.
"My kids are by no stretch perfect, & at home, he's as all boy as they come, but by all accounts he's good at school," wrote Keaton's mom. "Talk to your kids. I've even had friends of mine tell me their kids were only nice to him to get him to mess with people. We all know how it feels to want to belong, but only a select few know how it really feels not to belong anywhere."
