Center Test is a Japanese scholastic aptitude examination, one that many Japanese universities use as key part of the admissions. Center Test is both extensive and intensive, just like the American, as it has to gauge the comparative knowledge levels precisely. Yusuke Suzuki (@yuusuke_suzuki on Twitter), an instructor with online test prep provider Manabi Aid, has some photographs of the study materials of the student who got the perfect score on this year's Center Test's history exam.
The spell-grimoire like tome began its life as a copy of world history edition of Ichimon Itto (roughly "one question and answer at a time"), but that wasn't enough for the students. He added so many supplementary notes that some pages were entirely covered up. The reaction on the internet was mostly positive, some people calling it a "magical grimoire" and "a work of visual art."
